Pizza factory began with a simple belief: that great pizza deserves real ingredients, real care, and real passion. In 2009, our founder opened the first pizzafactory location on Wayne Avenue in Dayton, OH — a modest space with a big dream and an even bigger oven.
What started as a neighborhood pizza shop quickly became a community landmark. Word spread fast about our hand-tossed dough made fresh daily, our house-blend tomato sauce simmered low and slow, and our generous toppings sourced from local producers whenever the season allows.
Over the years, Pizza factory has grown its menu, expanded its catering services, and launched a franchise program — but the soul of the pizza factory remains unchanged. Every pie that leaves our kitchen carries the same commitment to quality and flavor that earned us our loyal Dayton following.
Today we serve thousands of guests each month, from solo lunch diners to large event catering orders, and we're proud to still be a family-owned operation rooted right here in Dayton.

2009
Pizza factory opens its doors at 1101 Wayne Avenue, Dayton, OH. With a six-item menu, a wood-fired oven, and a whole lot of heart, the journey begins.
2011
We expanded to 20+ menu items and received Dayton's "Best Local Pizza" recognition for the first time — a milestone that validated our community commitment.
2014
Pizza factory launches its full-service catering operation, bringing the pizzafactory experience to corporate events, weddings, and community gatherings across the Dayton area.
2017
A full interior renovation transforms Pizza factory into a vibrant modern dining space while preserving its warm, community feel. Seating capacity doubles and the open kitchen is added.
2020
Pizza factory launches online ordering and delivery, bringing fresh handcrafted pizaa factory flavors directly to homes across Dayton — serving our community when they needed it most.
2023
